Schüco and air-lux have reached a new milestone in their collaboration by introducing an innovative sealing strip in the AS AL 75 panoramic design sliding system. This patented inflatable sealing strip guarantees almost 100% impermeability to the sliding system and allows simple operation. The system is also suitable for large sliding units and in adverse weather conditions.

Once the sealing strip is activated and filled with air, it adheres to the sliding profile and seals the gap between the sliding unit and the fixing frame, making it completely airtight and watertight. Once opened (the sealing strip has finished operating), the strip rolls up and the sliding sash can be moved effortlessly.

Unlike systems that use brush-applied sealant strips, the Schüco AS AL 75 is weatherproof, easy to operate and does not compromise on functionality.

'- The monorail system is flush with the floor, ceiling area or side walls, so there is no threshold.
- The sliding units are mounted on the outside of the curtain wall, in front of the fixed glass line. The exterior sliding units do not require a frame extension that would obstruct the view. The visible surface width of the vertical frame is only 66 mm, and the basic structure is 173 mm deep.
